About

About me

I was born in Dormagen near Cologne, Germany on 30 August 1996.

At the age of ten I completed my first laps at a hired kart track in Kerpen-Sindorf, where I discovered my passion for this sports. Since then, my father Slawomir and I drove to a hired kart track almost every weekend, usually to the Michael Schumacher kart track in Sindorf.

In 2008 was my first opportunity to drive a real race kart at Kerpen-Manheim. I am very grateful to Gerd Noack, who supported me during my first steps in professional karting, just like he did with Michael Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel.

Only two weeks later I contested my first race and was really amazed that I was able to win it!

This was followed by numerous karting championship titles, including the overall victory in the German karting championship with the most participants overall, the ADAC Kart Masters 2011, as well as victories in the German Karting Championship.

In 2012 I advanced to Formula racing after completing a few tests and participating in the Formel BMW Talent Cup Shoot Out in Valencia, which I passed with flying colours and the fastest lap times in the qualifying session.

After a very successful debut season in the Formel ADAC, I contested the Indian Grand Prix in a considerably more powerful Formula Renault car in February of 2013. There I delivered a strong performance in the international grid.

This achievement secured a seat in a car contesting the prestigious German Formula 3.

20 podiums and 13 wins during the season was the flawless result of my Formula 3 debut, and at the end of the year I secured the championship title in the Formula 3 Trophy.

My partners and I have concrete plans for the 2014 season already, and we hope that we can build on my previous successes.
