Balthasar succeeds again at the Lamborghini Super Trofeo race weekend in Barcelona

The „Corona“ motorsport season 2020 once again included a change: Marcus Paverud (Norway) had to end the season early due to corona restrictions, which is why Noah Watt (Denmark) replaced him as a teammate of Sebastian. As part of the GT World Challenge, round five and six of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo took place at the Barcelona de Catalunya circuit in Spain.
The third round of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe season was once again crowned with success for the team duo Balthasar and Watt.

It just started to rain before race one, so that all drivers had to drive on wet tyres. Balthasar started the first race on the seventh position. He gained three positions and endet up on P4, just before the pit stop and driver change. Noah finally finished the race in P5.

In the second race Noah started from P3. Unfortunately he had an incident in the formation lap so that he spun and the rear axle was damaged. In addition we got a drive through penalty for that, so we lost the third position. Balthasar took the car over in P10 then. The gap to P1 was 38 sec just after the pit stop and Sebastian could minimize it to 34 sec till the end of the race. Due to the penalty the gap was already so big that he just managed to get on P8.

The Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe will continue in two weeks‘ time at the GT World Challenge in Spa- Francorchamps (20-24.10.2020).
